Welcome to the Miss Maryland International Pageant family. You are about to embark on a truly exciting and memorable adventure. We are very excited about your interest in competing and feel that you will be enriched by this experience. You will be an important part of what makes the International Pageant system one of the best in the Nation. Each contestant that competes in our pageant system will join a unique group of outstanding women from around the State making a difference in their communities. No previous pageant experience is necessary. The International Pageant family has had winners of all backgrounds, ages and nationalities.

When I was a contestant it was always important for me to know something about the State Director and each pageant system. I look forward to meeting each and everyone of you and would like to give you a brief history of my credentials. I am the Executive Director of the Miss Maryland International pageant and have been involved in the pageant industry for over 35 years as a judge, director, contestant and a coach. A former Miss Tidewater, Miss Outdoors, Miss Maryland Junior Teen, swimsuit winner in the Miss Maryland America pageant, Mrs. Delmarva and Mrs. Maryland International in 2002.  I am also, the proud mother of Miss Teen International 2006, Jade Kenny!

I have a Masters Degree in History from Salisbury University.  I have been a high school teacher for 19 years.

If you haven't experienced the Miss Maryland International form of pageantry we would love to have you as a contestant. One thing I can guarantee is that you will go home with a wonderful experience.
